Midvale's Water Sources
Midvale's 2023 Drinking Water Quality Report says its water comes from both groundwater and surface water. Three wells are its primary sources: the Million Gallon Well, Oak Street Well and Hancock Replacement Well. The city also buys water from the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District.
Jordan Valley lists its own water at about 10 grains per gallon, which is in the hard range. Well water in the valley usually runs harder than that, so a Midvale home can get a mix of both.
